About Mediation

Mediation is an alternate dispute resolution model that encourages parties in conflict to take into account the perspectives of others. Mediation is an opportunity to engage in discussions about how each party was affected by an interaction. Early mediation allows parties to efficiently restore relations and return to feeling whole again. There is no disputing that delays in the restoration process often result in a decline in wellness and productivity for both parties involved. True transformation equips parties with the tools necessary to educate others and resolve future conflict.
It is the role of the Mediator to set the stage in creating a space that encourages open dialogue and trust in the mediator and the process. Parties must be satisfied that the process will be timely, be fair and address each of their concerns. Mindful Mediations prides itself on treating all parties with dignity and respect while facilitating mediations free of bias.

We wholeheartedly believe in the power of resolving conflict through mediation. Not only is mediation more cost-efficient in comparison to traditional methods of conflict resolution, but it can also be powerful in renewing and restoring relationships and work environments. She has a proven record that when mediation is done mindfully it transforms relations, encourages reflection, and empowers parties with strategies to assist them in resolving future conflict.
Sonia provides culturally competent mediation services and all matters are treated with the utmost confidentiality. Born and raised in Toronto she understands the diverse demographics and strives to maintain harmony within the community.
